I agree about the current season of Dexter. Especially after Deb’s dream about Chinese food. I still think they made a huge mistake when they killed Doakes in season two. Also, Lithgow was the best. One more thing, I knew about 5 dudes in college whose life got shittier quicker than Quinn’s after a couple of nad decisions.

In this instance, I have to side with your dad. Can you imagine Greg Simpson’s reaction if you showed up at a Logan County Jail rec league game and stopped in traffic to throw up a hook shot?! Seriously though, amazing that when we were kids you only had to have size and a pulse to be a D1 center. Uwe had a muskrat’s build, Sally Field’s knees, and the Venus de Milo’s ability to handle the ball, and yet he was STILL an NBA lottery pick. And have you ever seen footage of 1920s college football players? They’re the size of garden gnomes. Almost makes me jealous, if not for WWI, the Great Depression, jazz music, polio, those full-body old-timey bathing suits, prohibition, segregation, having to brush your teeth with lye soap, etc.

How could you forget Uwe Blaab at center for the cream and crimson? I used to practice his hook shot in my driveway until my dad caught notice and said “why in the hell would you practice a move made famous by a big tall red headed stiff!”. I fought back tears as I went back to foul line jumpers.

Welcome back to the blogging fray. I couldn’t agree more about Meyer. I love how every hack writer that still held a gator grudge came out with a “is Urban Meyer bad for the buckeyes” piece. Thats like saying Gizelle Bunchen needs to put on more clothes. After watching the ineptitude of the offense and Jim Bollman this year, I would of settled for a return of John Cooper. Hell, I would of accepted Denny Green (they are what we said they are guy) or even Matt Millen. Off topic, what network thinks it’s a good idea to bring in man that completely ruined a pro football franchise in half a decade and call him your football analyst/expert. Millen’s mustache alone should disqualify him from network TV.

Emily, I suspect Andy had a subway poster (or something) of Coolio’s head on his bedroom wall. Those things are impossible for a white, middle-aged father (not to mention anyone who isn’t blind) to ignore. I had something like that, only it was Morrissey’s head and, though I’ve had many girlfriends and married a woman since, my dad still thinks I’m gay. There are some things a father just never forgets.

I think people need a little perspective. 85,000 people packed Wembley Stadium this past weekend and really knew how to get fired up. NONE of those people have probably ever heard of Tressel, Pryor, or tOSU. Everyone needs to get a grip.
